    You’ve found me!

If you’re looking for Third World, then you’re in the right place. My blog has been renamed JamBayan and is now located here (jambayan.net). I must thank my good friend Oliver “Blogie” Robillo (yes, that’s his nickname, and he acquired it long before the word “blog” ever came into existence) for giving me the impetus to restart the blog in the first place (it had been asleep for a year) and then for getting me to have my own website.

JamBayan is a word I’d coined some years ago and been using for some time now, mainly as the title of a series of intimate (read: small) concerts my band held in 2005-2006. “Jam” is a musical term that means improvising with other musicians, but for my blog I’ve had to think of a way to make it more general. So I’ve turned it into an acronym and subtitled it Just Another Mindanao Blog. I hope you’ll support it the way you’ve supported Third World. It’s actually the same thing, only better.
