In the interest of clarity and accuracy, I took the effort to transcribe Bro. Eddie Villanueva’s message during the 25th anniversary celebration of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ The Name Above Every Name headed by Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy on February 3, 2010:
Isang mapagpalang na araw, makasaysayang araw sa lahat sa inyo na nagmamahal na tunay sa Diyos at sa bayan.
Sa pangalan po ng Jesus Is Lord Worldwide Movement at ng Bangon Pilipinas ay buong-pusong binabati namin ang natatanging movement for the kingdom of God in our country and in this world, ang Kingdom of Jesus Christ The Name That Is Above Every Name sa pangunguna po ng ating ginagalang na kaibigan, Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.
At sa lahat po ng mga pastors, workers, members, congratulations sa inyong Thanksgiving Worship Presentation Day.
Kangina po sabi ko sa holding area ng mga kasama nila Ate Neneng Lizada, Ate Ingrid Canada at ni… at ng ating ginagalang na spiritual leader, Pastor Apollo Quibolo…sa… Quiboloy, sabi ko po sa kanila, nakita ko mga nakaputi, naalala ko yung Revelation 3:5. Sabi ho ng Revelation 3:5, “Yung maging mapagtagumpay hanggang sa huli hindi ko buburahin ang kanilang pangalan sa aklat ng buhay sa langit, dadamitan ko sila ng puting damit, ihaharap ko sila sa aking Ama at sa aking mga anghel.” Revelation 3:5.
Kaya buong puso po ang pagbati ko sa inyong lahat sa isang movement na pinanganlan ng ating Diyos “The Kingdom of Jesus Christ The Name Above Every Name, King of kings and Lord of lords.”
Ako po’y nakumbida ng isang common friend, ni Dr. Jun Loquias, ang president ng BAPTIST-Philippines na kaibigan ni Pastor Apollo Quiboloy just few weeks ago. At nagulat po ako nang ako po’y makarating sa inyong central church doon sa Davao. Ako’y namangha sapagka’t para bang talaga hong inihanda ng Diyos yung lugar na ‘yon. At naiintindihan ko ang pangarap ninyo… naiintindihan ko ang pangarap ninyo na ang Bagong Herusalem ay maitatag sa Davao.
Sabi ho sa akin ni Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, “Alam mo, Brother Eddie, matapos na mag-shake hands tayo kangina at magyakapan, bigla kong naalala yung pangarap ko nung March 8, 2008 na dumating ka rito, nagkamayan tayo’t nagyakapan tayo. Yung pangarap ko na ‘yon nung March 8, 2008 is confirmed today.”
Salamat sa maapoy, hindi maligamgam, maapoy na pagtanggap ng inyong spiritual leader sa inyong abang lingkod.
Bago ko po tapusin ang aking maikling pagbati, gusto ko lang hong i-encourage kayong lahat, mga kapwa ko taga-langit. Ang sabi po ng pangalan ng inyong ministry, “The Kingdom of Jesus Christ.” Naalala ko po yung sinabi ng Muslim brother natin kangina, qinuote niya yung model prayer ni Jesus, “Our Father Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name, THY KINGDOM COME! THY WILL BE DONE ON EARTH as it is in heaven.
Ano po ang relasyon nito sa darating na eleksyon? Narito kaming mga kandidato hindi para mangampanya. Narito kami upang magsabi ng “amen” sa inyong misyon.
Kingdom of God, sabi ng Romans 14:17, is not a matter of eating and drinking. Kingdom of God means righteousness, peace, and joy of the Holy Spirit.
Kaya binabati ko ang inyong samahan sa inyong pagtatagumpay, mawawala na ang korapsyon at katiwalian sa ating bansa. Mawawala ang violence and terrorism. Maghahari ang righteousness na sinabi ng Good Book , “Righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach or a disgrace to any people.”
Again, congratulations to all of you, especially to the world-renowned preacher of righteousness, Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.

Jon, thanks for the transcript! Here are my initial thoughts.

Issue: “movement for the Kingdom of God”> Does BE really believe that the ACQ movement is a movement for the Kingdom of God? Notice how he has spiritualized the context of his statement.
“ng ating ginagalang na spiritual leader, Pastor Apollo Quibolo… sabi ko po sa kanila, nakita ko mga nakaputi, naalala ko yung Revelation 3:5. Sabi ho ng Revelation 3:5, “Yung maging mapagtagumpay hanggang sa huli hindi ko buburahin ang kanilang pangalan sa aklat ng buhay sa langit, dadamitan ko sila ng puting damit, ihaharap ko sila sa aking Ama at sa aking mga anghel.” Rev 3:5.”
Issue: BE connects the “ginagalang na spiritual leader” with the quote of Rev3:5; BE spiritualized his comments and so the “ang dating” of his words, or its ‘flavor’ or impact, appears to spiritually endorse ACQ and his movement.
“Kaya buong puso po ang pagbati ko sa inyong lahat sa isang movement na pinanganlan ng ating Diyos “The Kingdom of Jesus Christ The Name Above Every Name, King of kings and Lord of lords.””
Issue: Again BE has spiritualized his comments. BE identifies the official title of the ACQ camp and then says this is named by God Himself!? True, it can be taken that he is playing on words and thoughts here, but “ang dating” again is that he is spiritually endorsing the movement. And if he is playing on words here then what do we make of that, specially in the context of spiritual comments?
“Ako’y namangha sapagka’t para bang talaga hong inihanda ng Diyos yung lugar na ‘yon.”
Issue: Again he has spiritualized his comments with the same effect.
“gusto ko lang hong i-encourage kayong lahat, mga kapwa ko taga-langit… Narito kami upang magsabi ng “amen” sa inyong misyon.”
Issue: Same. Very consistent with his preceding comments.
“Again, congratulations to all of you, especially to the world-renowned preacher of righteousness, Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.”
Issues: With all the spiritualized context of his preceding comments BE makes this concluding statements that clearly links the ACQ group “to all of you” with ACQ himself “especially to the world-renowned preacher of righteousness, Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.”
Because BE has spiritualized his statements so it is fair to critique his words from that angle. If so the logic is inevitable that he has spiritually legitimized and endorsed ACQ and his movement!
If BE came on the platform as an aspiring politician and made a speech in the context of politics and the country then i would not have major problems. But he didn’t do that. Instead, he spoke as a spiritual leader, as a leader of another spiritual group, the JIL, notice his intro > “Sa pangalan po ng Jesus Is Lord Worldwide Movement…” and his political party only came in second.
As a prominent pastor/church leader of the evangelical charismatic faith he is responsible to make a clear distinction between his political role from his ecclesiastical position. I’M NOT PROPOSING A DISJUNCTIVE SPIRITUALITY. Rather, a sensitivity to the multilevel context he is in e.g. his position as pastor/spiritual leader in the larger evangelical church, his political ambition and all its implications, the Quiboloy phenomenon in our country, and the rest of the watching nation.
I think that he has not chosen his words well enough. I believe that there are legitimate grounds for those people who have taken offense because of his speech. Because of his stature, and the position that he is seeking to attain, I think it is fair to expect better from him.

I respect all your opinions. Nacoconfirm lang din na marami satin di pa tlga ready sa pagbabago. Masyado natin hinahighlight mga bagay na sa TIGIN nating PERSONAL eh mali. Why don’t you compare it with waht bro. Eddie achieved as a person, as a citizen and as a servant of God? Di yung parang nilalason natin sarili natin pati ibang tao, convincing them that Bro. Eddie is someone na hindi dapat maglead. Hope and pray na maging united na tayo man lng mga Israelites. Daniel became a servant of Nebuchadnezzar but it doesn’t mean he agrees with their beliefs and faith. He just remain in doing the will of God.

I think we christians should not be judgemental.. It looks like we are perfect???? No only Jesus.

Ang speech na binitawan ni Eddie Villanueva sa isang group whose leader is usurping the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ has gone very far and under the authority of the Word of God (Book of Jude) is clear apostasy. Eddie V. has been expressing false prophesy in his first presidential attempt and now even embracing and fellowshipping with a false Christ, I REPEAT FALSE CHRIST! just for the sake of votes. Jun Loquias has also took the road of apostasy when he spoke words in the JIL meeting and meeting with Quiboloy.
